Remove the case from your MacBook completely before doing anything.

Clean with IPA — wipe down every surface to remove oils, dust and residue. Let dry.

Sand lightly with 400 grit in circular motions — just enough to scuff the plastic for adhesion.

Wipe again with IPA to remove all sanding dust. Let fully dry.

Apply masking tape over port cutouts or any edges you want to keep clean.

Shake the Vista matte black can for at least 60 seconds before spraying.

Apply paint in thin, sweeping passes — 2–3 coats, 10 min apart. Don't rush or you'll get drips.

Let the final coat cure for at least 2–3 hours before touching it.
